My name is Lisa. I am a LPN with well over 30 years of nursing experience. I have worked in various healthcare venues: nursing home, hospital, psychiatric facilities and home health care settings. My skills include, medication knowledge and distribution, dressing and wound care, bathing/dressing/personal care, assist in physical therapy, vital signs, medical documentation, close communication with family and medical team. In personal care nursing it is also within my realm to help maintain a clean and safe home for my patient. I do love to cook and bake which is always important as well. My verbal skills are excellent. I enjoy good conversation and have a good sense of humor...at least I think I do! Most of all, I love listening and learning about my patients. I am so fortunate to have met some fantastic people on my nursing journey. In a nut shell, that's what nursing is all about: to give the best care, physically, mentally and emotionally, listen, learn and share.
